1. You’ve To Be Stupid, Dude!
Sounds weird, right?
All jokes apart, internet marketing is for stupid people. Yes, if you want to make money online, join the group of stupid people – Well, those who earn $10 – $100 are yet to cash the fire that sets entrepreneurs on high.
If you want to earn $3,000 – $20,000 monthly – then you’ve to be stupid. To be stupid simply means to act like someone who doesn’t know anything. You’re never to reinvent the wheel – not one bit!
Just because you hold a MBA doesn’t mean you’ll succeed online. That knowledge is quite different and it doesn’t apply to building a successful online business except in the educational market.
In fact, I discovered that professors and intelligent people who started online business fail woefully. They’re still hinged to University knowledge and academic writings – How pathetic?
Be stupid – don’t think the way other people think. Act the way your inner spirit motivates you. When it comes to networking, do it like a maniac – don’t accept “NO” as the final answer. Work your butt off. Sack your BOSS, if you’ve the guts!
Spend time in your business – stop pursuing the next fad. Your parents and spouse might want to talk you out and even call you stupid – makes no difference because; you’re STUPID to start a business online in the first place.
If other people failed in a project, go ahead and try it out. If you fail, it’s a good thing – you’ve learnt your lessons.
2. Create Your Own Product
This article is not to pamper you – I’m giving you a wake-up call to do something worthwhile today. Create your own product and don’t believe everything you read out there from so-called experts, creating a product of your own is not THAT DIFFICULT.
I can own a valuable e-book in the next 7 days if I want. All I have to do is buy a right to a PLR (private label rights) product and modify it (add my name and links).
Yes, these products are informative and written firsthand by experts in internet marketing or whatever field you can imagine.
And you can write your own e-book and sell. The bottom-line is to create a product as fast as possible. It’s the hub of your money making online. It’s a secret that experts are hoarding from the masses. Leave a comment and thank me for spilling the beans.
I’ve several products that are generating cash for me on autopilot. It’ll be very difficult to earn passive income online without your product.
Affiliate marketing works, but it takes a lot of time to fill your bank with cool dollar bills. And do you really trust the affiliate product you’re recommending?

3. Don’t Stay In One Place
You’ve to focus in a particular course before results can come, right?
But don’t stay in that course. You’ve to diversify your business models. I’m not telling you to get distracted and jump from one business to the other; all I’m saying is that one source of income might not cut-in and generate decent income.
As a blogger, I run coaching classes for small and mid-sized businesses and this has given me an edge and extra source of income.
I write and sell e-books. I’m seriously thinking of venturing into developing Apps to target mobile and PC users. Android and iPhone Apps are hot right now and I’ll keep my readers updated on what’s going on with me. Look out for my emails and fresh posts.
Don’t put all your eggs in one basket. Look for other profitable business models to make money from.
A little cash from multiple businesses can add up to $2,000 – $5,000 monthly. If you’re an affiliate, you can make more money by offering freelance services like writing, graphic designs, web development, consulting and so on.
4. You Must Start Today or Never
Some folks love to procrastinate as though they own tomorrow. I Ouch, I can imagine why so many people are broke – are you one of them? Stop procrastinating.

Don’t ever sell a product to a stranger. I mean someone whom you’ve not known, to a certain extent. It’s a waste of time trying to sell to people who have not subscribed to your blog newsletter.
The only people who qualify to buy what you’re selling are subscribers and fans
Why I’m I so confident of this?
Because these people have shown great interest by exchanging very delicate information with you (email address).
They want more information from you, so share your products with them – your sales and commissions will go through the roof. Don’t ever sell to strangers; it’s a waste of time, resources and insights.
Take Action Now
Without you taking action now, your financial life will continue to be a mess. So, take a decision right now to transform your business and start making money.

I’m a perfectionist. The quaint little phrase I learned years ago does apply to me, “perfectionism leads to procrastination, which leads to paralization.” That’s me! I’m reviewing a review of my site to make it better before I do seo. I’m looking at this report and figuring, out what I can do when your email (first one) came in. Thank you, it’s the first time anyone laid out 5 simple steps.
I have some book ideas even started them, as I am a writer (published and all), I don’t have a problem producing content. My problem is, I’m always “fixing” it. What if it has errors, or I didn’t credit someone, or I’m starting at the wrong place……. I just wish I could get past that.
Any suggestions?

You’re a perfectionist – good!
But there is no product out there that is 100% perfect. You can’t succeed or make stack loads of cash online by being perfect. In fact, it can destroy your business. Creating a helpful and error free product is recommended, by don’t wait another month before launching it. Launch it anyway and learn from your first mistakes. We learn by making mistakes. I still make mistakes, but I learned to do it better next time.
Bottom-line, you can’t be totally perfect. “Perfectionism leads to Procrastination.”
Make sure you get started with launching your product before the month runs out.

Thanks for such a quick reply. I have written a book on baking a great pie. I have found so many people asked me to tell them how I made my pies so great. So I actually wrote a short book, pictures and all. I have a book I’ve started about all the internet “get rich quick” products I’ve tried. I try to buy them cheap or get them free. I try them out and evaluate them. I have a few other ideas, but I haven’t started them. And of course I’m busy perfecting my blog, before I do any seo.
Than you Sandra. Good to hear that you’ve written a book on baking a great pie. Wow, that’s so fabulous, but which platform do you intend to sell it. It should have it’s domain name, and a salespage to sound relevant.
You can’t possibly sell a “baking book” on a money making blog. I hope you understand me. Both are not related at all. On the other hand, if you’ve a blog that deals on general “food” then selling a baking or any other food e-book might be ideal.
And secondly, I would advice that you tread carefully with money making ebooks especially those that sounds too good to be true. If you’re yet to build rapport with target audience, it can raise eyebrows – they’ll conclude you’re on of such persons.
My advice is this: focus on helping people monetize their blogs wisely. You’re not promising any specific amount of money, except you’ve been making such amounts. I’m able to write and stand behind my ebooks (money making) because I make money online, from my blogs.
As for starting, I think you need to beat procrastination and get down to work. Expect my next newsletter, it’s going to help you out. I’m getting prepared to send it.

Excellent post this Michael,straight to the point and full of truths. Procrastination is closer to evil than most people thinks, it can ruin lives.People need to start today, if what you write is rubbish at least you have
A started to create habits and skills and
B have something on file that can be edited or re used.
It is far easier to re use and edit something that is there and not just in your head. I have read several of your posts last couple of days an it has inspired me to write a post. You get a name check so I’ll let you know when it goes live and you can see what an influence you have been on me.

‘Don’t sell to strangers’ what an excellent tip, so much time and money is wasted trying to sell to new customers and even find new customers, treat your present customers better and you reap more in the long run.
So many people online look for someone to sell a product to at a stupid high price then wonder why they don’t come back when it isn’t worth what they paid for. Delivery quality at a good price and the need for new customers and to sell to strangers is diminished.
I’ve been using SFI for the past few months and have started to see some good results. It takes time and a bit of hard work at first to get started but once you’re there the residual income opportunities are fantastic.
